Creative Writing Copywriter

I've written 3 novels (including HOW WE GOT TO TODAY) and a few screenplays, so I'm no stranger to writing creatively.

Below you can see how I've used my creative writing experience in the commercial world, specifically Australian beer, but don't worry if your business can't live up to that Platonic ideal. I'm sure I can write creatively in most industries.

Although, if you're in the arms industry manufacturing Agent Orange, then please don't ask me to write a poem.

Aether Brewing - Poem

The brief was to write label copy in the style of a children's adventure featuring a pirate called Ginger Beer'd. Space is tight so I thought a poem might be more efficient. The original poem had to be cut in half to fit but I think it works well.

Common Ground Brewing - Short Stories

This Australian brewery wanted humourous descriptions for each of their drinks which also mentioned the key ingredients and flavours.

The characters designed for each can were so original and vivid, I thought I could write a short story for each one. By mentioning how both protagonist and antagonist could share a Common Ground beer and forget their differences, gave me a basic structure for the stories.

In total, I completed 10 labels with 10 unique short stories.
