Protak Scientific Ltd is the UK-based company formed specifically to bring the new science of Enzyme Indicators to market for any medical or pharmaceutical environment using hydrogen peroxide decontamination processes.

LinkedIn Posts

This involved producing a content plan with post ideas, writing the post and also producing the creative graphic to go with the post. I also updated their main header banner on LinkedIn and kept an eye on activity by becoming an admin.

Email Marketing

Using MailChimp, I wrote, setup and sent out emails on behalf of Protak to their mailing lists. Each week I would report back on the previous campaign with various KPI's such as open rate, click-through rate, bounces, unsubscribes, etc.

Case Study

I wrote the case study 'Picarro: Assessing product and personnel safety in decontamination cycles' in close collaboration with Protak Scientific at every step to ensure an accurate and informative work.

This involved distilling all the data and relevant information Protak had gathered during the validation of the isolators at The Royal Liverpool University Hospital (RLUH) NHS Trust, into a readable and recognised case study structure. I also added images, references, as awell as creating a well-designed PDF version which could easily be deciminated either via email or as a download.

Project Review

My previous experience of working in pharmaceutical aseptic filling came in handy understanding the advantages of enzyme indicators and how they are used within hydrogen peroxide decontamination validation processes, such as in VHP isolators.

Growing the LinkedIn page followers and analysing the email marketing results is an ongoing project and an enjoyable one, especially as the results influence how the copy and approach should operate going forward. Being flexible and adaptive is a key strength in these areas.
